[Sold] 24.5 x 18.5 cm. 287 pp., color frontis., 15 color plates, with numerous text and full-page black and white illustrations, many of the black and white illustrations are crudely colored in pencil, and scribbles on many text leaves; most affected are pp.161, 214-215, 250, 278-282. Pictorial endpapers in dark green and with life poses by the famous comedians, Montgomery and Stone. Red cloth pictorially stamped in dark green, black, and white; spine stamped in same colors. All edges worn, many leaves with tears, front and rear endpapers stained, occasional soiling throughout, color plate between 204-205 torn, color plate between 260-261 detached; a readable copy. No. 1 of The Oz Books Series.
